This Australian saddle was made by the Syd Hill company, one of the better brands out there. It has had meticulous care and little use. Tree length is different than a Western saddle, but this one would be similar to about a 14 to 15 inch Western style tree.
The leather is in perfect shape and has been kept well oiled and cleaned. It comes with matching accessories including a breast collar, saddlebags, a crupper, a "tea billy", monkey grip, and genuine wool blanket that ties directly to the saddle.
The brass buckles and hardware are in the shape of miniature horseshoes, and are very well done.
It's cost was well over $2,500 and it would take more than that to replace it today, however we have it for sale at $1200.00.
