Thank you for coming to our website, and Welcome to the Diamond D Ranch, owned by Lynn and Darvin D. Dietz.

We have two awesome AQHA stallions to help reach our goals ----- Weavers Diamond Fox, a 1998 Buckskin and Pic N Plain, a 2002 Black. Their photos, pedigrees and descriptions are in our "Stallions" section of the website. We have always maintained the philosophy that "a good horse is never a bad color", but in this day and age, color has become more and more important with the buying public, so our efforts are still focused on the "good horse" side ------ but we have increased the possibilities of those good horses having outstanding color as well.

Our Broodmare band includes Black, Brown, Grey, Blue Roan, Bay Roan, Red Roan, Grullo, Buckskin, Dun, Sorrel, Chestnut and Palomino, to offer desirable options in color to match the qualities of the pedigrees.

Our goal with Quarter horses is to raise quality animals that have good dark, hard feet, prominent withers, good bone, clean heads and necks, desirable color, powerful muscle and outstanding, trainable minds. We also want them to have very good dispositions, controllable speed and a good deal of natural "cow" in them, so they can rein, rope, work a cow, cut and gobble up the miles on a trail. Our country (in and around Yellowstone National Park) is very mountainous and they need to be tough as well. Our primary focus is the production of very high quality reining, working cow and ranch horses.
